In this class, during the year we will learn about all the simple phrases to be able to speak French. Some of these things we have already have learned like how to say hello, or good-bye. Right now we are learning about how to express likes and dislikes. Also, we are learning about other simple phrases like cat, dog, cheese, school supplies, and school subjects. Questions like when do you have this or how old are you are things that we should know about. Then we have Rosetta Stone, which is an interactive learning website. We go on here almost every day, and try to learn what the difference is between il and elle, and learn more phrases.

Chapter 7 Project In this project we learned about the names of family members and how to describe them. She wanted us to make a family tree using French to describe them. So I used Google Draw to make a tree with branching sides. This, in my opinion, made it look more organised. It was effective in helping me learn family names in French. For example, chat means cat. So, I have three cats. I also think this was greaT, beacause I learned more about my family that earlier had just oput off and didn't think about.
This reminds me of the time I was at a summer school camp. I was taking French and I learned so much, but I forgot it all before now. I know that we covered the subject of family Chapter 6 Project In this project we were learning about our favorite places to go to in Fresno are. Except we learned it in French.
Likes and Dislikes In French we are learning about how to express likes, dislikes, and how to start coversations, introduce each other, and learn on Rosetta Stone. I know how to start a conversation like: hello, how are you, how old are you, what day it is, what do you like to do, and how to say good-bye. On Rosetta Stone, we are learning by mimicking a phrase and looking at pictures that help you make an understanding of the word or phrase. Also, you might have to match the phrase or word witha picture of it. So if there is a cat picture and a dog picture and it is asking you for the chat(cat) you would click on the cat. Rosetta stone is helping me understand some of the terms that I will need to know later.
This activity in class helps everyone know what is going on that we should learn about. This is how we learned how to speak English. Our moms and dads are talking and we just start mimicking them. Sometimes your family would have flash cards with pictures on them and you could understand what they were talking about.Rosetta Stone does that for you on the computer. |
